The Interim meeting was conducted as one of the main activities within Work Package 1 (WP1) in the framework of the “SME Innovation Capacity Boost” Project under the Interreg - Balkan-Mediterranean 2014 - 2020 Transnational Program, aiming at increasing the innovation capacity of SMEs in the region. It was hosted by FORTH – PP8. The Interim meeting was held on July 5^th, 2018 in Thessaloniki, Greece.

Representatives of all project partners and members of the Steering committee participated in the meeting as per the attached registration list. The meeting was opened by the LP - President of the NASMB Bulgaria - Mrs. Eleonora Negulova, who welcomed the participants and wished them fruitful joint activities in order successfully to evaluate the project progress and to take decisions in order to achieve the final project goals, through cooperative work and helpful exchange of knowledge and experience between all partners.

The agenda of the Interim meeting covered three working sessions. The first working session was devoted to the topic SMEINNOBOOST Project progress from 1st of August,2017 till 30th of July, 2018. Every PP provided information about the status quo of project progress per BMP country through Power Point Presentation incl. activities performed; achieved results/deliverables; faced problems/solutions. The Lead Partner presented the scope and details concerning the budget adjustments and the content of the prepared draft of the Request for project modification.
